Really need help on what to do with my hair! Please I need your opinion!?

Ok to start I have long dark dark brown hair. I think I have a square head and I know I have a tall forehead. Right now my hair is split in the center and fairly straight to about the middle of my back. Also my hair is medium to thick.

I'm going to get a hair cut soon and I've been looking for pictures and tips but i can't find too much on the web, so I'm going to ask you guys.

I will not colour my hair at all. I would like to have my hair medium length and layers but I don't know if it would look nice so could you guys please give me some suggestions. If you have an idea of a haircut could you tell me (and send a link to an example if possible)

if you want to cover up a large forehead, then try bangs. Not the straight across bangs that you had as a 7 year old, but more modern like side swept bangs, or choppy kinda uneven bangs that will give you more style. Try shoulder length hair with some layers that will compliment your square face, long straight hair kinda draws it out. There are a lot of fun styles you could try. You should go to one of those websites that you can use your own picture and see what it looks like with various styles. Here's one that I found but I'm sure if you look you could find others. part it to the side, alot. its kind of a trend right now, and it looks really pretty most the time, with both straight and curled hair.

i would get bangs. not side bangs, but bangs all the way across your forhead. but they shoul dbe angled, so tat they get shorter in the middle and at the ends they are longer. that will give the illusion of a rounder face. and then for the rest of your hair, i think that you should get tons of layers, the longest being right up to your chest. good luck!

Since you have a high forehead get bangs or swoop bangs, they always look good with people with be big foreheads! Then keep it medium length with many choppy layers. It will look adorable!

I would change it as a side bang.. and swift it to the side.. try some small curls here and there maybe.. a few wavey curls or something that U would like.. my hair is exactly like urs... U might want to get it thinned if u dont like ur thickness.. maybe get curls? I usually scrunch my hair or just straighten it.. u could get it permenatly straightened.. or however u like..

My daughter also has long dark brown hair. Brown is beautiful, so don't color it! Long layers are a really good look and make your hair easier to control. And it looks great for shoulder length hair. It also gives it more volume. Also, for a high forehead (which I have) I recommend bangs. Not really thick bangs, but fluffy type bangs that come right to your eyebrows. And an off center part for your hair gives you a little bit of a different look without a huge change. Good luck!

go to a good salon or ask a friend for a referral. if you find someone who knows hair, they will know exactly the best plan for you - someone who knows hair will know what will work best for you. good luck.

Long hair is beautiful. You can take off a few inches, I suppose. Could you have some bangs to minimize your forehead? Then have it style to go straight back. You could also have a side ponytail or part.

You could try getting some light waves without using a perm (bad for hair).

Sounds like your hair is very similar to mine. I love long hair and come near to tears if i get too much cut off! if i were you, i would get some light long layering done, maybe a little framing around the face, and cut a coupple of inches off the ends. Long hair is always in style, loved by men, envied by women. You could try paring it on various different sides and different angles and such to complement your face. After i get out of the shower i pick thru my hair and find a 'part' that looks good so i can let it dry that way. There are just so many things you can do with long hair, i can't even begin to tell you them all, but that is my advice, and hopefuly i may have helped:)
