Im in a band and we are starting to get big and i saw someone the other day and he had hair like mine brown and medium length and he had black highlights in it should i do the same thing? Do you think that it would look cool?

If you want you could get highlights that are still brown but diffrent tone so that it looks more natural and better.

instead of black highlights i would go with like a strawberry blonde or dirty blonde highlights

yeah it would look cool, but i don't recommend it if you want to damage your hair and your roots.
i did highlights since 1st grade for 7 years straight, but my hair started to frizz and on the ends were damaged and my roots.
but it's really your choice.
