Wear bright colors but stay away from gray, tan and yellow they will wash you out.

Usually the best shades for you are determined by the undertone of your skin, say if you have yellow or pink undertones to your skin. This, along with your hair and eyes, helps determine your best colors. People used to do what was called color draping. They'd try on different shades and make note of what looked best on them. The colors would tend to fall into a certain pattern, and determine your "season". So, if your best colors were cool (silvery or blue undertones, primary colors and jewel tones), you were either a "Summer" or a "Winter". If you looked better in the warmer side of the spectrum (bright and intense colors, like spring flowers, but with warm, golden-yellow undertones), you were either a "Spring" or a "Fall".

These days, people don't pay quite as much attention to what season they're supposed to be and wear whatever looks good against their skin and hair. And, if you have a great hair stylist, a good colorist, and are good with your makeup, you could certainly fake a color palette that isn't yours.

From your description of yourself, you sound like you'd look wonderful in any color, but especially sharp whites, bright blues (turquoises), fuschias, grass greens and other bright colors that really pop against your pretty golden skin without blending in the way earth tones might. If this is more daring than you normally go, try working these colors in one piece at a time. Say, a bright blouse with a neutral shaded suit, or in accessories like your shoes and jewelry. Even in your makeup; I have similar coloring to you and when I want my eyes to really pop I accent them with purple/plum shades or a little turquoise liner with my neutral shadow.

Hope this helps you.
