Mostly perms make your hair really curly and you can't get any soft curls with them. instead of a perm i'll tell you what works for my thin hair;

1. Wash your hair the day before you curl it (not the day of, because when it it too clean it dosent hold curls as well)

2. Mousse damp hair after your shower (the day before curling)

3. you can use a curling iron, but hot rollers work best for my hair, and i use a curling iron to do touch ups when they are out.

4. while you have the hot rollers in your hair, spray them before they cool off.

5. Take out the curlers, style then spray until it dosen't move! lol

good luck finding a good style! but i still wouldnt recomend a perm because once i got one and wasn't satisfied at all! i hope this will help!

I am a beautician. I hate to be the barrer of bad news, but it is going to at least take 1 year to get it all gone. Every month go in and get your hair trimmed and it will not only help you grow it out length wise faster but it will also quickly get rid of the dye. I am going through the same process myself.

For a straight-forward bob look, just blow it dry with a large round brush.

If you want it to look more edgy, use a flat iron to curve the hair in different directions. Then use a dry wax or texturizing paste to separate the hair and make it piecy. If you have it layered up quite a bit in back, use the wax/paste to mess it up and give it some height.

Just play around with different products and you'll figure out what to do with it. If you still have trouble styling it, then go get it styled at the salon and tell them you want to know how to do it yourself...it will be worth the $20-30 you spend on the style so that you can learn some tricks.

ok, first off, i am a guy. when picking my avatar, i just decided a chick would look better..... lol

second off, i have a rather large forehead/receding hairline/etc. its not really receding tho... i was born with it like this, but that is what it resembles. regardless, i have a large forehead.

i also have rather thing/fine/etc hair. its not necesarilly thining or anything, but its really fine and flat. also, my wierd hairline makes my bangs a little thinner, cause, they arent there like most people are, lol. its not too god awful tho. my hairline isnt half way back on my head or anything, but its rather high up in comparison to other people.

i also have a rather defined jaw. its not big, but it is a little bit pointy, with a normal, medium build.

now, i have layered hair with the front/shortest parts coming down to my chin (its parted in the middle, so it ussually lays around my jaw bone) and the back of my hair is just an inch or two from shoulder length.

try this free method.

[1] Wash your hair and blow it till its still alittle damp.

[2] apply styling cream/wax

[3] Section your hair into little bundles (how thick depends on how much curls you want)

* note from the bottom inner hair to top and outer.

[4] curl each section over a toilet roll (cardboard) for larger curls or over a pen/pencil for smaller wavier curls.

[5] Leave it on overnight for maximium results.

[6] in the next morning, remove the objects in your hair and arrange them so that some parts flow naturally. Apply a bit more styling cream to hold it in.

how about getting a body wave perm. yes it is costly, but, will save loads of time and energy getting up early to wash your hair, spray gunk on it, scrunch it to death, add more product, difuse blow dry it, and then scrunch it more only to have it fall out by the end of the day.

section by section starting at the crown with a fine tooth comb (or slender bristle brush).

take the comb, hold up section, start an inch or so above the scalp, and brush down towards scalp. do it a second time a bit above the teased hair, then again. 3 times only! or you'll do damage (and look too frizzy).

do it on the underside that's not showing.

when done with all sections, gently smooth top with a bristle brush to hide tease.

hairspray. done.

I do mine like how you want it, and i have medium length THICK hair. I use a comb(make sure it's completely straightened and blowdryed),take a small section of hair hold it outwards and brush it towards my scalp(backbrushing), then add hairspray. If you add hairspray beforehand, it'll be harder to fix it if it doesnt come out how you want.

I also use spray gel as a finish.

Do you process your hair in any way? Relaxers or straightners? If you don't, you probably should as that will help with manageablity. If your already doing that than just try some different styling options. You can either get wear your hair curly or straight. If you want more natural, you can just scrunch your hair and keep it with anti-frizz products. If you want flat, just get some heat-protective creams or sprays and a good flat iron.

A good hair cut can also do wonders and make it alot less work.

With makeup, just get a good foundation. Pick on that is natural looking. My suggestion is to goto the mall and have bring an instant camera or use ur camera phone. Get the pro's at the makeup counters to give you a makeover. Then take a pic of it. Bring some baby wipes and take it off and try a different counter. I know it sounds tacky, but some makeups just look better than others, and no point in buying one to find out it looks horrible.

So get a good foundation, 2 or 3 lip colors (roses and mauves), and maybe a palatte or two of shades for eye colors (greens or brown/bronze tones)

Oh and if you have a Sephora's near you I would save myself the hassle and just go there. They are one stop shopping for makeup and have real professionals to help you.

Get side swept bangs and ask your hair dresser to give you a really really dark brown hair color.

Black will strip your hair of all color %26amp; make your mom angry. Maybe go for something subtly spiky? Ask for something lightly spiky on the top for a real cool look without going over the top.

I would also go for a pale colour blike yellow or pink and pastel colours would look good because if you had a colour like black with dark skin it wouldn't look great. because you have long legs and a flat stomach, you'll obviously want to show them off.

A two piece will show off your stomach more, and bikini bottoms will do the same for your legs. Because your bust is small, i would recommend going for a halter top bikini, because bandeau's and triangle tops can sometimes rely on your bust to be held up properly.

Also, you can go with a darker swimsuit, because (i'm guessing) your skin is a little bit darker, so a black or dark brown swimsuit won't make you look too light.

A very soft blue (almost white) applied VERY lightly would make your eyes sparkle. My eyes are the same color and I get loads of compliments when I go very light on the blue. Just below the brow I put a translucent beige - again, almost white that gives a very subtle sparkle.

Have you tried gold eye shadow? I love mine from Clinique. I have brown eyes and when I wear gold eye shadow with a nude base and then use brown eye liner I get TONS of compliments. Also silver eye shadow and charcoal liner will help make a smoky, sexy look. Experiment! Green liner also looks great with brown eyes. Curl your eye lashes and use mascara last.

I tried every make up, alothought you have an advantage since you have light brown eyes I had dark brown eyes. Make up didnt work for me. But now I have amazing green eyes after having a procedure called newcoloriris. I dont even use make up now , they stand out enough alone.

Hi.

If your growing it out it will be quite time consuming and a lot of care will have to be given to it. Are you happy with your hair colour? If you are then leave it, if not then start off with a few highlights, then maybe go for a colour if you want. Length wise- zac efron length type thing ? If you see any TV stars, models, celebs that have a simular style that you want to achieve pront off the phot and take it when you next to go the barbers/hairdressers and they will know exactly what else to do.

I think longer hair will suit you well as long as its not too long! lol

I think you should get bangs that are layers but not swept to the side. Then get the rest layered and shaped to your face so that you can either brush it forward and have the layers hug your face or comb it back and away from your face.
